Meico Vettik, a top talent from Estonia has confirmed his plans for the 2025 season – he’ll be racing a 450cc Triumph machine.
The Aqva Triumph Racing team have signed up Vettik which will see him focus on the ADAC MX Masters series as well as the Estonian championship. The plan is also to contest a few MXGP World Championship wildcard rounds.
The team have already confirmed the signing of Jörgen-Matthias Talviku for the 2025 season as he’ll be back racing in Europe after a year racing in USA. Vettik will be joining Talviku under the awning in a strong rider line up.
“One of my friends made a completely new team in Estonia. It is something new because here almost every single rider is a privateer. There are no teams at all who travel around Europe. So, it was good choice to join with them and also I have fast team mates so we can train together and improve everyday”, Vettik told GateDrop.com.
“So, our main focus is going to be on the ADAC MX Masters as well as racing the Estonian Championship and then we will see. Hopefully we can do some MXGP’s. I am really thankful for the opportunity that the team has given to me. We will be at the track soon for next season prep”, Vettik concluded.
The team confirmed the news on social media:
You are welcome Meico Vettik. We are pumped to announce Meico Vettik as an MX1 rider for Triumph Aqva Racing. Meico will run #1 as reigning Estonian Champion in MX1. We are motivated and proud to work together. Let’s do the next step and achieve more success in 2025 together.
